I forgot to take a picture of the radiator itself but it was in the main lobby of this retirement home; right next to a set of sliding doors. I thought this sound, though monotonous, gives a slight eerie feeling. The lobby was a very open space and made the sound seem to have almost an echo to it. The dog started to bark at me as the couple came closer and I'm pretty sure they asked, "What's that guy doing?"
There was also a couple of college kids across the street yelling and slamming a door. I stood where the sound of the birds seemed most suffice and, with both hands, held both mics into the air.
Getting a quality moment of the bird call proved to be extremely difficult standing in the middle of the street. Also at the end of the clip is a nice sound of a car driving away. The sound isn't obnoxious and I think there's a nice subtly to it.

Drift Strategy / Drift Start Point

My Drift Strategy is simple. I will start out on a location of my choice (this being near Park Ave.) I will then walk one or two blocks, turn in a direction then taking an opposite turn at the next block. After completing this I will walk back, taking a different route, to my original location and search for sounds in the areas I have encircled. I will walk between the hours of 3:30 pm and 7:30 pm on Feburary 18th.
